Hello and welcome to the Market Fantasy Week 18 Recap!
The FOW closed little changed, but up .2% for fantasy week 18. For the year, the index is down a dissappointing7% still. There has also been a change in the FOW again. With news that David Wright will likely not play again this season, he has been replaced in the index with Adrian Beltre. Beltre has posted similar numbers to Wright, so this is more of a lateral move.
Overall, the catcher and first base sectors dragged down the FOW, while pitching and third base helped offset those losses. David Price posted the largest week over week gains as he continues his strong play since activation from the disabled list. Buster Posey posted the biggest loss on the week as he fell back to the catcher pack this past week.
Thanks for reading everyone! Baseball is winding down, but football is just over the horizon! The football FOW along with some other cool analysis is coming up!
