Hello and welcome to Market Fantasy!
After nine weeks, the football FOW is now up 1.7% on the
year. Week eight saw a slight decrease of 0.1% over week 8 as some big gains
were offset by many small losses. This week, leading the way have been Andre
Johnson, Jason Witten and the 49ers defense. Andre Johnson absolutely dominated
the Colts and put to rest any worries that Case Keenum would stifle his game.
Jason Witten had a huge day for the Cowboys to boost his stock 23.5%. The 49ers
defense continues to rebound nicely from a poor start, posting a 13.1% gain
this week. Aaron Rodgers and Arian Foster saw their value plummet after each
left the game in the first series. Jordy Nelson’s stock took a hit with Seneca
Wallace at the helm, but I wouldn’t worry too much about him at the moment, as
he has a soft schedule coming up. Ray Rice again did nothing, but if I could
buy for pennies on the dollar, I might. He has a couple very nice matchups
coming up.
Thanks for
reading and stay tuned for more features!
