Hello and welcome to Market Fantasy!
After seven weeks, the football FOW is now up .8% on the year. Week 7 saw an increase of .5% over week 6 as a couple players posted solid gains to boost their years. This week, leading the way have been Calvin Johnson, AJ Green and a pair of defenses. Finally healthy, Megatron had a huge game last week, posting a solid gain of 23.5% on the week. The Niners defense continues to rebound nicely from a poor start, posting a 22.9% gain this week. There have been some declines across the board in value as players like Cruz, Foster and Fitzgerald come back to Earth a little bit. Cruz has posted two weekly declines in a row as he cools off from his monster start. The Bengals defense continues it’s skid as well and is not looking look like the top five unit everyone projected at the beginning of the year. The injury bug continued this week, and we have had to replace Doug Martin with Matt Forte. For a history of the DOW and replacements made to it, check out my blog post here.
