Hello and welcome to Market Fantasy!

After 13 weeks the Football FOW is up 1.6% on the year after largely remaining unchanged last week with a slight dip of 0.5%. It was an up and down week across the board, with some really nice gains negated by a lot of smaller losses

There were a lot of double digit movements, and two notable big movements were related to each other. Drew Brees was hammered by the Seattle defense Monday night, leading to a big drop for Brees and a nice bump for Seattle. If you had to pick right now, Seattle or Carolina defense? Rob Gronkowski continued to be a touchdown beast and CJ Spiller actually showed up. Gronk could win a lot of leagues if his owners made it to the playoffs.

Two receivers had troubling weeks this week; Jordy Nelson and Brandon Marshall. Marshall watched as Alshon Jeffery absolutely decimated the Vikings for 249 yards and two scores. The good news for Marshall is that he could get Cutler back this week, who tends to look Marshall’s way more. Also, the Bears only really have four guys they throw to, so the targets will be there. Nelson has a problem, however. Unfortunately, Matt Flynn looked like the Matt Flynn who was cut by two teams and not the record setting Matt Flynn on Thanksgiving day. There’s an outside chance Aaron Rodgers returns this week, but the Packers are pretty much dead in the water at this point. Why even bother bringing him back? Without Rodgers, the Packers’ skill players all look likely to take a hit.

Thanks for reading and good luck in the playoffs to every one still in it! Stay tuned the next couple days for some playoff previews!
